Service Description

Experience comprehensive prenatal care with Midwife Mama Africa's complete pregnancy care package. My services include: - All prenatal visits. - All routine labs (genetic and gender labs are not considered routine, may be covered through your insurance or self-pay). - Referral for one anatomy ultrasound between 18-20 weeks. - Birth in the comfort of your home. - Basic birth supplies and a birth pool will be available to you at no extra cost. - 4 postpartum visits. - Will be on-call 24/7 for you, starting at 36 weeks. - Will fill out and file your child's birth certificate with the State of Florida. - Will preform newborn metabolic screen/newborn exam. - A birth assistant will be available at time of birth for emotional and physical support. - In person childbirth education (including siblings and other family members) as desired. Additional Info: Prenatal visits take place in at your home and are scheduled for up to an hour, allowing plenty of time for personalized care and connection. Care typically begins between 8 and 10 weeks of pregnancy, with appointments every four weeks until 28 weeks. From 28 to 36 weeks, we’ll meet every two weeks. Once you reach 36 weeks, we begin the countdown to birth with weekly visits until your baby arrives! Starting at 36 weeks, I’ll be available to you 24/7 for urgent concerns or emergencies, giving you direct access to me whenever you need it. Once baby arrives, we will meet when you are 2-3 days postpartum, 2 weeks postpartum, 4 weeks, postpartum, and 6 weeks postpartum. This package costs $9,500.
