About Me

With over 27 years of midwifery experience, I bring a unique blend of clinical skill, cultural sensitivity, and heartfelt care to every family I serve. My journey began in West Africa, where I was deeply influenced by the traditional, community-centered approach to birth. Later, I trained and practiced in Germany, gaining a solid foundation in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital birth environments. Now based in Florida, my approach combines holistic, hands-off care for smooth, natural births with trusted clinical judgment when the unexpected occurs. I offer a steady, confident presence - knowing when to pause and when to intervene.

My care philosophy is rooted in respect, education, and empowerment. I believe families deserve to make informed decisions about their birth with confidence and clarity. Known for being a clear communicator and well-organized professional, I ensure my clients feel supported, heard, and prepared every step of the way. Whether you're planning a home birth, a hospital birth, navigating pregnancy questions, or looking for gentle postpartum support, I provide personalized care that meets you where you are.

Beyond attending births, I earned my Masters in Medical Education and have spent many years as an instructor and mentor to future midwives, nurses, and medical professionals. Teaching has deepened my commitment to safe, respectful, evidence-based care while allowing me to pass on the wisdom of both traditional and modern practices. I’m honored to walk alongside families and birth workers alike, holding space for transformation, trust, and joy in the sacred process of bringing life into the world.

In my spare time, I serve as the acting president of Season of Hope, a local non profit whose goal is to improve maternal health, both locally, as well as, in Mali Africa. It is a role that allows me to contribute to a cause close to my heart. When I'm not working or with loved ones, I enjoy exploring new places that inspire and recharge me, spending time in my garden and out in nature, as well as investing time in professional development.
